We  recognise  the  significant  economic  benefits  that  the  TTIP  could  provide  and,  given  the  strong correlation   between   increased   prosperity   and   improved   health   outcomes,   welcome   the   positive   impact  that  such  developments  may  have  upon  the  health  of  the EU’s population. We do, however, have concerns about the potential for the TTIP and other FTAs to threaten the ability of European health services to provide high quality healthcare to all, regardless of wealth.
