UEMO meets with the European Young Family Doctors Movement and WONCA Europe Board at WONCA World Conference (Lisbon

On 20 September 2025, during the WONCA World Conference in Lisbon (17–21 September 2025), members of the UEMO Board met with the Board of the European Young Family Doctors Movement (EYFDM) and with the Board of WONCA Europe to discuss strengthened cooperation in primary care across Europe. Key topics included a proposed memorandum of understanding on Health Technology Assessment (HTA) collaboration and continued joint efforts to secure recognition of General Practice / Family Medicine as a European specialty.
