UEMO President Tiago Villanueva attended the event “From education to policy impact in European Healthcare”, organized by the European Geriatric Medicine Society, on October 16 in Brussels. He joined a panel discussion on “Implications of Geriatric Medicine beyond the Geriatric Specialisation”, which explored how essential geriatric competencies can be embedded in the education and continuous professional development of the wider healthcare workforce.
