UEMO Vice-President Hermenegildo Marcos participated in the CPME General Assembly in Dublin

On March 20 and 21, UEMO Vice-President Hermenegildo Marcos participated in the CPME General Assembly in Dublin.

Attendees discussed “The Digital Determinants of Poor Health,” focusing on smartphone applications, understanding what pornography is, and gambling addiction. Other topics of discussion included optimization of the health workforce, the health effects of gambling, the digital omnibus package, medical device regulation revision, and the Biotech Act.

Finally, a panel discussion was held with European medical organizations on “How to enforce better retention of the health workforce?” Representatives from AEMH, CEOM, EJD, EMSA, FEMS, UEMO, and UEMS participated.”
