UEMO President Tiago Villanueva attends PHMA centenary celebrations in Athens

On 13 December, in Athens, UEMO President Tiago Villanueva attended the centenary celebrations of the Pan-Hellenic Medical Association (PHMA), together with representatives of other European medical organisations (EJD, CEOM, CPME, UEMS and WMA), in the presence of the Greek Minister of Health. In his address, he praised the achievements of the PHMA and expressed the hope that Greece would join UEMO in 2026. He also held an informal meeting with the President of the Greek Union of General Practitioners, Dr Dimitris Gougurelas, to discuss the organisation’s prospective membership of UEMO.
